Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I love maple trees, especially for their leaves. I think they are the most beautiful leaves nature has provided. This image was made on my very autumn season as a photographer. A group of friends and I rented a house in Washington state on the Thanksgiving weekend to celebrate the holidays and to explore the wilderness nearby. However, we could not go anywhere far because the rain never stopped for the whole entire weekend. Luckily, the house we rented had a very beautiful garden with a big, gorgeous Japanese maple tree. The leaves had almost completely fallen due to the rain, only a few remained on the branches. This was one of them.
